Block printing is considered the oldest from of printing originating in China dating around 600 AD. Blocking printing consist of an intricate carved wooden block dipped in paint and pressed on to paper or fabric.
In this class you will be designing and printing your own tote bag. All of the materials are provided. A brief talk about the art of block printing will also be given during the class.
